No offence to the conservative government but your track record pretty much ensures that this is a shady process intended to undermine environmental protections, create more sprawl, add more highways, and destroy more habitat. You truly only appear to have a dystopian view of the future and I’d prefer if you defer to conservation experts and indigenous communities when making any changes to protected species/habitat acts. Furthermore, it’s pretty well established that we need more affordable housing, and increased and balanced density in existing urban centres. What we do not need is more “market rate” housing with no real public transportation, sprawl with no walkable neighbourhoods, and more people on the highways. You once again show yourselves to be devoid of a positive conception of the future that children in Ontario will inherit.
