I could write a draft but the Ontario nature letter is pretty good. Maybe something like “I am deeply concerned about the proposed amendments to and ultimate repeal of the endangered species act. I believe this is an essential piece of legislation for the protection of our province as a whole. The current proposal does not follow current scientific research and advice and will therefore likely cause unnecessary harm to the province’s natural environment. Additionally, the proposed changes trample Indigenous rights which is unacceptable from a human rights perspective. I implore you to reconsider the proposed changes and instead strengthen species protections based on current scientific consensus.”

The fact that Ford is trying to take away protection for wildlife is absolutely absurd. The earth needs protecting now more then ever. Climate change is demolishing mutiple places around the world at a increasing alraming rate and the key factor in this is to coutine to protect land and wildlife that needs protecting, not to mention this would branch out into indigenous land and it's protection as well, as if they haven't been through enough.This needs to be put to a stop before it's too late and we have ruined our country and planet with this attack on wildlife and the environments protection. We will feel the repercussions on our eco system if this passes and it will come back right bite us when we start to run out of resources and climate disasters coutines to wreak havoc.
