Ontario is my home. I work with children all over the world, and one of the questions I get everytime I meet a new child is, “is the nature in Canada really as we see it?” I usually have to reply, “In some places” or sometimes “It used to be.” Ontario is made beautiful by the species and nature that exists within it. If we can’t even protect the most vulnerable of species, what could happen to the rest of us? Why take away the abilities of children to explore and enjoy the wonder that is Ontario’s nature simply for another chunk of money? Money cannot be used after we are gone, but nature is an investment that no money can buy.
