I do not support this bill. Regulations are in place to protect our land from those seeking short-term gains at the detriment of Canada's future.
We need carefully implemented amendments, not completely loosening regulations to expedite building projects.
There so much empty living areas that is built for luxury living; not affordable for the average Canadian. We need to look at the housing crisis from a holistic perspective. What existing spaces can be utilized/subsidized to allow everyone a place to live, what buildings can be repurposed; before building projects are granted.
Our land is a limited resource. We must take care in the decisions being made.
