Bill 5 must not move forward for the protection of species who occupy the lands being considered, and to preserve our beautiful province for future generations of people, animals, and plants. This kind of thinking is colonial, extractionist, and very short-term. This isn’t the 20th century: we need to think of sustainability in every decision our governments make. We are in a climate crisis. Everything is connected. Find an alternative sustainable solution. No on Bill 5.
