I strongly, deeply oppose Bill 5. Canada needs strong environmental protections that cannot be cancelled simply to grant corporations and industries shortcuts and less accountability for what they do to our cities and our planet. This bill is unconscionable and would destroy already dwindling resources and ecosystems, which will have dire effects on the places we live. I strongly oppose sacrificing lives and common sense understandings of the environment just so greedy corporations can take even more from us. We want environmental protections and we do not want even more cuts to environmental funding. We do not want and cannot allow corporations to be absolved of accountability processes and we cannot have them ruin our environment for the sake of it. Do not legislate this evil bill.
