I disagree and do not support this change. In reading the proposal it appears there really is a change that favors development and could fo harm to species already being crowded out by developers. We need farmland protection, habitat protection, and wetland protection.
What good would it do a wetland and its inhabitants for an activity to start because a developer registered? You can’t get that back if by some chance a regulator stopped them? It looks too like the government could interfere and if developers have the ear of the government…which they appear to have.. then what protects the environment? If we needed this bill in 2007 there was a reason.
Please stop Bill 5. It is very harmful to our endangered and not yet endangered species and habitats.
