I oppose the proposed interim changes to the Endangered Species Act. I want strong environmental protections for plant and animal species that are at risk and endangered. Allowing shortcuts and a repeal of protection measures is short-sighted and can cause irreparable damage to species and their habitat. Industry doesn't need shortcuts—they need to be held to a higher standard. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.
