Nothing is more important to the future of humanity as conserving endangered species. By creating a system which favours building infrastructure over conserving the natural environment, we will continue to obliterate the ecosystem in which we live. I have a B.Sc. degree in Zoology and a have studied conservation, and Ontario is not doing enough as it is. To reduce the already small amount of protection provided would be a catastrophic mistake. Humans cannot thrive without the natural environment. This is not the answer, and I am disappointed that it is even a suggestion.
