While I agree that the province needs to have well thought-out development that enhances our infrastructure and economy, as a province we need to be very careful about how and where these projects are approved and placed. A blanket declaration of "Special Economic Zones" is too broad. There are municipal by-laws and zoning laws for a reason. It is not necessary trample on the jurisdiction of municipalities.
