I do not support the reckless speed at which species conservation is moving forward. Registration before any permitting process and then assessing damage afterwards and having “voluntary” opportunities to implement habitat and restoration seems incredibly reckless. How do we hold groups threatening species accountable if they are able to register and immediately impact species with only voluntary impacts after the fact?
