For too long Doug Ford and his elitist pals have run amok with zoning regulations; their irresponsibility with environmental matters will impact generations of Ontarians in the future.
Bill 5, if enacted, would allow the provincial government to fully ignore any municipal and provincial laws.
Species of plants and animals in Ontario are already endangered. Their habitats are disappearing at the hands of the government so the rich can get richer.
We owe our planet the respect it deserves.
The animals, plants, water, air, and environment have no voice while making these rules or choice for them to be bypassed. Their value and existence is real. Money is fleeting and development is detrimental.
There are currently many spaces that can be repurposed for housing or economy. We do not need to infringe on natural spaces.
Stop Bill 5.
Sincerely, a 7th+ generation of Ontario, Lydia.
