I am very concerned with the reduced set backs being automatically approved with no review.
By reducing setbacks with no oversite there will be more icing issues with more slip and falls.
The only example is for front yards what about site and rear yards. By removing oversite there is a much great potential for basement flooding issues as well as standing water issues. When residents reduce their side yard set backs there is an increased amount of water that can be absorbed into the ground and ultimately the weep tiles. This increase of water in the weep tiles, will increase the potential for sump pumps to fail or overwhelm sanitary sewers.
