This sounds like a threat to our clean abundant water supply. What is it? Because we object to your proposed pit and the additional two in the works that you have now decided to use the local clean fresh water for your dirty laundry and as a lever to get your own way. Why on earth would you want to wash the gravel. What happens to the sandy sludge that would be left behind and how would you compensate if our wells ran dry or became contaminated. I guess you do not care if you turn this area into an industrial wasteland but I guess as you do not live here you do not have to care.
