I object to any water taking at the Redford Walker Pit 381769 Cons 4 NDR West Grey. Ministry reference number 025-0587 As a neighbouring resident within 120 m of the subject property I feel notification for an amendment of this magnitude should be required. No notification was given. Read more

I strongly reject accepting this application. We should not be allowing corporate interests to access our water for their own profit. Water is a common resource and should not be owned or used for private interests and with climate change we have to start seriously conserving our water. Read more

Allowing this amendment, permit to take water, to Walker Aggregates is completely unacceptable. The loss of habitat for species in the area will be catastrophic to the whole ecosystem there. Permitting this action, and the resulting deleterious effects, is not worth the risk.

I belong to a canoe club that frequently has trips on the Saugeen River. I have come to enjoy the beauty and richness of the water ways and my hope is that those who have the power will help it to remain the way it is for ourselves and for our grandchildren.
