We live less than 20 min from the site and are appalled that this application could even have a chance of being considered without a full impact review. The impact of a Category 3 taking almost 8 million liters per day would absolutely and without a doubt affect residents, farms, businesses and the overall ecosystem for many kilometers in every direction. Even our residential wells would be at risk. We and every single person in our community that we have spoken to since since the very quiet and last minute announcement of this application request and require that the application be assessed properly with a full and comprehensive set of impact and environmental reviews with a meaningful opportunity for community engagement and consultation.
