Water is a valuable commodity. Destruction of such a commodity a) needs to be brought to the public, for proper discussion, not hidden away! b) details of this proposal need to be given, so that the people in the surrounding area know how they will be impacted and c) As our elected government, you are bound to inform us, the public. Hiding information, makes it seem like you are hiding information, because it is not favourable, etc.
The proposed water taking qualifies as a Category 3 permit.
Category 3: water takings are anticipated to have the highest potential of causing unacceptable environmental impactor interference.
You need to come clean and explain why a clean source of water is going to be destroyed and contaminated.
