I have been climbing on and off at devils Glen for the past 10 years, living in Collingwood for 4 of those years, the local community has nothing but respect for the outdoors and keeping nature as is, we are generally picking up litter from local hikers.
Also It brings tourism and economic growth to the local area wether it be staying at campgrounds or going to get food after a day of climbing at the glen. It could potentially bring economic growth to Ontario parks as well, depending on if some land was used to secure a parking lot I know most of the community wouldn't be opposed to annual or daily parking passes, depending on how frequently they climb in the area.
