I cannot support this…

I cannot support or approve this municipal plan as it stands because it does not meet the goals set forth by the province or the residents of Fort Erie. This plan hinders development in the Crystal Beach area in particular. The former urban boundary expansion plan had included 4337 Michener Road as part of the Priority #1, Area 3 urban expansion. To not include this in the expansion would only stop the community from growing. If you look at the proposed urban boundary it's a logical choice to square up the lines of the urban boundary and just draw a straight line. Why limit the towns growth for the future, to delay this from happening until 2051 is pointless and sad for the hardworking residents of this town.
