This is an excellent initiative. Wagg Road in Durham Region, part of the Existing on Road Routes, is in terrible disrepair and is dangerous for cyclists and motorists. Similarly, Vandorf Sideroad in York Region, part of the Proposed on Road Routes, is also dangerous for cyclists - the disrepair forces bikes to ride almost in the middle of the road. I would respectfully suggest that, in addition to the potential human tragic aspect, there may be liability issues for the municipality if an accident happens in either one of those locations.
