We moved to Oakville because it was green enough, not too crowded and had a bit of an old town feel. We have liked that and we grew our kids here. I see the massive changes coming with density and this is not cautious foreward thinking. Density will be crazy, this will affect the GO train ride from Oakville and the station is already overloaded and crowded going into the city. Traffic coming into Oakville in rush hour is already noted as one of Canada's worst commutes before these builds are even completed. We don't need super density here. We don't want to become Mississauga.
Please backtrack some of this planning to sane levels as recommended and standard by Oakville's municipal zoning. They have kept growth at manageable levels thus far, but it's getting tight here fast.
