Overall, the Province-wide cycling network development is positive and will help to ensure the safety of cyclists. One future area for development should be an on-road access between Brantford and Caledonia, which could be developed along Hwy 54. This route would ensure that the network includes Six Nations of the Grand River, and connects key tourism partners within Regional Tourism Organization 3. This route is also scenic, as it winds along the Grand River (a Canadian Heritage River). Consistency in directional signage either through a provincially subsidized trail marker or wayfinding program, or design guidelines for trail signage implementation at the municipal level would be an asset.
