This is perhaps the most disappointing action that i have seen on thus file since the last deferral 5 years ago. Ontario has all the information needed at its disposal, the capacity and knowledge to act and show leadership and instead has chosen to defer instead. There are clear avenues to take; its only a matter of taking the necessary steps. At this point it is clear that Ontario is in contravention of its ESA and may force a federal department to contravene SARA.
