There is nothing more important than protecting the ecosystems that sustain us. They only thrive under conditions which favour growth and evolution. We currently are not in a place where we are putting our economy as well as our environment at an opportunity for evolution and growth. Only when we can find balance between the two can we evolve and grow as a society. However, at the end of the day, we need to realize and accept sobering realities. That this planet sustains us. Without it. Without the species that sustain the ecosystems that give us life. Without respect for our environment...we will reach our end. And it won't matter how much money anyone had at that point.
