Dear Minister of Safety,
I am not in favour of continuing to use our ageing nuclear plants. They scare me. If there was to be a Fukushima scale accident there must be a Call for Public Safety with proper recommendations addressing the nuclear risks on the Great Lakes region. Risks such as drinking water, The Great Lakes themselves, the affect on the land, on vulnerable communities. In light of these risks from our ageing reactors at Fermi, Davis Base, Perry, Ginna, Fitzpatrick and Nine Mile Point, the Ontario government needs to protect public safety and prevent needless risks to health and society by making Ontario's nuclear emergency plans the most robust in the world!
