200m from a trail restricted access to a lot of potential hunting locations.
Bear hunter usually stay on their stand until dark and 200m is quite a hike in the dark over rocks and fallen trees.
Bear hunters are well aware of any activity in the woods and there's very little danger to anyone using a trail near a bait.
50m or less is more resonable.
Thank you.
