This proposal is worse for the industry than the first. It would seem as if you did not like us not accepting the first one, and said "here now, we will teach you for your opposition".

Not allowing people to catch bait where they are and use it at the same waterway is ridiculous. If people have a cottage on a lake that is not in their own BMZ where their P/R is yet they pay all kinds of taxes and cannot get bait fish. Also this new policy is going to make it harder to purchase bait as there will likely be less dealers as many will not survive. I wonder if you took that into consideration when you made these.

Up north where you are not going to allow bait out of the G/Ls inland, just wondering how you are going to stop the fish swimming up stream in all of the rivers around there?

Not allowing tested bait going north, and not allowing minnows from the G/L into the North Bay region is going to raise havoc on dealers and catchers alike.

This "New" bait proposal does not meet any of the goals of the BRAG committee, unless the original goal of eventually closing down the bait industry was masqueraded as 4 years of meetings with the industry.

I cannot express my disappointment with MNRF and Politicians, after us pointing out the problems with the original proposal, coming back which is just the other one 2.0, enough.
