This is long overdue. The more population pressure in an area the more need for priorities. S. Ont. is getting too crowded... have you thought of doing something about that?
2. Re: Municipalities and a say in water taking....your goal 4.
This is the usual convoluted wording that comes from ministries that don't want to say clearly whether they do or don't want something to happen. Are you going to give municipalities the right to be an actual part of the decision ie they have some teeth and can stop it if they can show it is going to negatively affect them? Every time you refer to this topic in your proposal the wording is different and the meaning is likewise different. I see nowhere that they will be able to stop a water bottling company if it is not to the benefit of the community. This whole concept of water bottling for profit should have been dealt with years ago. Are you ever going to get in front of a major issue and deal with it? I wish there was an open line for the ministries to report what they are told to do by the politicians!
