I am a long term resident of Belfountain in Caledon, Ont. Tourists flock to our area during all seasons for the joy, beauty & more carefree pace of the country. Our area relieves the stress of day to day living, not only for our residents, but more so for the people that visit. Please do not allow aggregate pits and quarries into the habitat of threatened and endangered species in Belfountain. Pits are all around us & we need to keep our countryside for personal enjoyment & to help with fighting climate change. Keep the growth to the south end of Caledon or into the villages that welcome growth. Please let us keep our hamlet as such and do not destroy the habitats of endangered species that reside here. Thank you.
