This plan for changes puts the greenbelt at huge risk for erosion and threatens habitats of species because they would be build into for city growth. Prime farmland and rural areas should not be considered second to urban sprawl, they should have protection as well. It also doesn't take the opinion and laws of the indigenous people of the land into account, and overlooks consultation procedures that are completely necessary. A more socially just and conciois plan that is also sustainable needs to be put in place, and this isn't that.
