I am very concerned about the environmental and safety issues that will severely impact the residents in the West Hill and Centennial communities if the Waste Processing Depot is located at 633 Coronation Drive in Scarborough.There will be many heavy trucks loaded with waste material coming to and leaving the facility all hours of the day and night 24/7 on their way to the 401 and creating noise and toxic emissions.The Processing Depot should not be located in a busy residential neighbourhood but should be relocated to a non residential area close to the 401.A public meeting must be held , when the lock down conditions for COVID-19 have improved to provide more detailed information to the residents and allow them an opportunity to express their concerns and issues.
