This is a RE-ELECTION ISSUE. Stop interfering in decisions in municipalities that already have official plans and zoning by-laws in place. A number of recent orders have authorized controversial development on important agricultural lands, hazard lands, or where there is significant natural heritage. Let the Conservation Authorities do their jobs which they're trained to do.
The Ministerial zoning powers is shortsighted and carries significant risk to our environment!
