I strongly disagree with this proposal to enhance the authority of the minister with respect to zoning issues.
Increased centralization of too much power in the hands of too few can result in major irreversible mistakes being made too easily.
I think we need more oversight of development rather than less.
Protection of our architectural heritage and green space is crucial not only to preserve our history, but to protect our environment.
