To whom it may concern,
I have reviewed the draft Northern Transportation plan.
I don't see any improvement to the small town of Hornepayne and Hornepayne FN.
This is a bustling community thay provides relatively high paying jobs, forestry, CN rail and possibly mining being its major industries.
Via Rail used to travel here, they have stopped this run.
The proposal sounds nice and reads well but when is a government going to step in a d actually make changes instead of just talking about them. Get via rail back up and running to communities like Hornepayne - If the government didn't downsize the ONR a few years ago, yiu woukd have had a starting point.
Everyone / government and upper class wants the resources the north has to offer but those same people don't really want to spend the money to increase accessibility.
Pen to paper is great, boots and shovel on the ground is even more promising.
