I personally reviewed the technology used in this proposal, and I would strongly suggest that the you provide a license for a much higher capacity rather than the required 20 metric tons, and would like to put through a proposal for that.

There are no adverse side effects to the technology, and it is NOT incineration of tires as it is currently categorized. The technology uses heat to extract the gases and oils from the tires, leaving the basic carbon and steel. The diesel oil can be used a hydro-carbon fuel, and the gas is recycled to preheat the tires and to generate electricity for powering the microwaves.

My research is indicating that almost no CO2e is generated from this operation, which should be the main concern. In addition there should be no concern about the noise, as it will pale compared to the adjacent Algoma factory. Finally, I understand that the tires will be stored in shredded format which is far more environmentally friendly compared to whole tires.

I think that the major problem is categorizing this operation as tire incineration, which is clearly not the case.
