I was upset to learn about the proposed changes to the site plan by Miller Paving. I realize that progress/development needs to continue to meet the pressing demands of a growing population. However, we have the ability to ensure that progress does not come at the cost of irreversible damage to our environment. The area in question is an important aquafier. Studies have shown that in the not too distant future potable water will become a scarce resource. Let’s do the right thing and ensure that future generations have access to clean water.
