I live beside the Boyington…

I live beside the Boyington pit#3. I think that the application should not be approved because if approved the miller group would be able to dump potentially contaminated fill into a vital water supply. This would impact not only the surrounding neighbourhood but the whole town of Uxbridge. If this were to happen it could have a huge negative impact on the day-to-day lives, and potentially the health of the people who rely on the Oakridges moraine for their water. Another reason why the further industrialization of this site would be bad is that it would displace many species of wildlife who live in the area. These animals have already been pushed from their original homes by the urbanization of the town and destroying this habitat could be damaging to their populations.
