Here is my list of very invasive plants that should be banned at the cost to our environment if not. Mostly because I see them on my hikes along the Brice Trails or the Ganaraska trail both in Ontario. I also fight to prevent 3 of then from coming into my garden from my neighbors.
Creeping Jenny
Periwinkle
Lily of the valley
Goutweed
Sedum
Japanese knotweed
Bamboo
Dog strangling vine
Also banned or limited to planter growing only are peppermint, spearmint, lemon mint
Please ban these from all garden nurseries!
Any plants that come from other countries are not suitable for our country . They haven't got any natural enemies here.
