Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to share that I am against the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry's proposal ERO 019-3465, specifically the proposal to phase-out the import, possession, transport, propagation, buying, selling, leasing, or trading of live Eurasian wild boar and their hybrids.
As per ERO-019-3468, there is no firm evidence to suggest that wild pigs are established in Ontario, and therefore responsibly farmed wild board do not create a threat to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
I am asking you to help us ensure that our supply of Ontario raised boar does not get phased out by the government of Ontario and thus assures the livelihood or Ontario wild boar farmers.
Thank you for your consideration of this request.
Resident of Vankleek Hill, Ontario and customer of a local wild boar farmer.
