Durham Region is not interested in receiving the sewage from another region. Ajax already struggles with algae growth which negatively impacts our water and beaches. I also disagree with government letting themselves off the hook by making it so they are immune to liability. What are we coming to that regions are not responsible for their own waste and government feels they don’t have to be accountable for actions that negatively impact others?
