I'm dismayed to see…

I'm dismayed to see communities like Peterborough lose funding from Cap &Trade for programs like the new Kitchen Waste Compost Facility ( now cancelled).

The government has betrayed Cap and Trade partners,globally and nationally, and businesses who are committed to and entrenched in the system. It has left itself open to expensive legal challenges.

Most importantly the cancellation of this program moves Ontario backward in the fight against climate change. The science is indisputable. The government cannot ignore the need for action on this issue and should not seek to destroy legislation designed to curb carbon pollution.
