I have been hunting White Tailed Deer for over 65 years in the same area #52 and have noticed that in the last 8 years plus we have not had a rut occur during the two week hunting season as the weather is consistently too warm. Most deer remain nocturnal if not moved by the rut to change to moving in the daylight hours. It is therefore absolutely necessary to move the hunt to a later date perhaps the middle two weeks of November so that more deer can be harvested.
