Cap and Trade in Ontario is essential, as without it there would be little else currently in effect to limit emissions by big (industrial) polluters in Ontario. The reality is such that even more, much more, in addition to Cap and Trade must be done to successfully combat pollution. Cap and Trade represent the absolute minimum that must be done in this regard. To eliminate Cap and Trade would be a giant step backward in the fight against pollution.
