The plan should look to emerging energy technologies that have the least human and environment impact to include life span and recycle options.
Wind farms are outdated and yesterdays technology that have proven to be inefficient, which cause more harm then good. Considering the alternatives, and emerging solutions, technologies such as wind farms, which studies clearly identify as problematic and ineffective, should not be included in Ottawa’s plan for a greener tomorrow. Look to studies, the science and experience of others which have followed through with wind farms to see that it’s negative effects outweigh any potential positives. Ineffective, inefficient and harmful.
No wind farms on any land in the greater Ottawa region.
