I am not in support of the ERO 019-4995 for the following reasons during the committee meeting about the Boreal Caribou meeting:

1. They were unable to give a dollar amount to this project.
2. They were unable to give a hectare amount.
3. They had no idea of a population number for the boreal caribou for a self sustainable population.
4. Ontario does not have a predator management program to help with managing deer, moose and caribou populations.
5. NDMNRF had the opportunity to save a bunch of caribou on the Michipicoten Island back in 2013/2014 when there was a population number of 700 before the wolves crossed an ice bridge and decimated the population down to about 30 by 2018 due to the wolves and the government left it too late to protect the caribou at that time.
