The proposed additions to the Greenbelt are completely inadequate for the future sustainability of human and other life. Failure to add the Paris Galt Morraine, the headwaters of Carruthers Creek, as two examples, demonstrate that this is not a serious effort to protect Ontarios viability. You are sacrificing safe and available waterways, species at risk and human welfare for the interests of developers. While we do need more housing, paving over our publicly- owned (not government of the day) owned waterways and natural lands is not the answer. Nor are more highways, like the proposed 413, that will devastate Ontarios environment. I urge you to stop sacrificing our future for the pursuit of profit in the present.
