As part of the Transportation Plan for Eastern Ontario, please consider new railway overpasses and underpasses to improve traffic flow on roads and to address safety concerns at rail crossings. In particular, please consider a new overpass or underpass on the west side of Belleville where the CP rail line crosses Walbridge Loyalist Road. The area is a growing part of Belleville that connects Highway 2 to a Highway 401 interchange and is in close proximity to Loyalist College. I would suggest a 4 lane overpass with a bicycle lane and pedestrian sidewalk given the expected growth in the area.
