This is horrifying that our government is standing by to allow further destruction of the planet. We only have one Earth and science is Undisputed on the fact that we are causing it to get hotter it's also Undisputed on the fact that that heat will cause extinctions and those extinctions will affect us in our food chain. This isn't just about the animals this is about protecting ourselves protecting our future and protecting our children. Systems like cap-and-trade are the right way forward for the world. And if we don't engage in these sorts of things right now the results could literally be apocalyptic
