I have visited Alfred Bog and it was an amazing experience.
If you are serious about protecting this bog, you need to protect all the flora and fauna which live within it! Saying “creating this park will provide greater protection to an ecologically important and sensitive area” and then also saying that hunting and the use of all-terrain vehicles will be allowed to continue, makes no sense. Regardless of private land issues, etc., do the right thing and protect the bog in its entirety.
