The definition of public charging infrastructure network should expand to active and available public charging infrastructure. There are numerous chargers that aren't being maintained or have been sabotaged making it unavailable for use. By putting in more chargers without maintaining the existing infrastructure is like building a new highway, but not maintaining it so that drivers can use it.

I recommend that you please consider opening the fund to maintenance and security. If so, this program should also be accompanied by a policy to look at security and enforcement practices (e.g. cameras to identify and fine individuals purposefully destroying public charging infrastructures)

In relation to the request for input for the fund itself... public charging infrastructure should accompany locations typically where private sector would not be willing to fund it. Areas with high usage typically are prime locations for private investment and do not require public funding to subsidize the infrastructure. However, where public funds would be beneficial is along routes towards tourist destinations (e.g. Killarney Provincial Park) where there is lower usage.
